Patient Instruction Sheet

MORNING of your test:

  • NO SMOKING the morning of your test
  • Patient should either FAST (nothing to eat or drink after midnight the night before the testing is done) or eat a FAT-FREE, LITE breakfast

 

  • NO CAFFEINE the morning of your test.  (NO coffee, tea, cocoa, hot chocolate or cola drinks)

 

  • DRUG FREE – Be sure that you have been free of aspirin products and medications for at least 10 days.  If you are on any medications, please contact our office to see if the medications will affect the result of the lab test.
